Pre-College Life Drawing Session

On Sunday, October 20th, young artists from High Schools across New York City traveled to 8th street to draw from the model.  Artists Jill Nathanson and Josef Zutelgte led students in an exploration of form, contours, and composition.  Students worked with ink, charcoal and graphite in the historic sky lit drawing room at The New York Studio School, and the improvements from drawing to drawing were exciting.

We will be starting a weekly course for teens this winter 2014 on Sundays.  For more information, get in touch at wcjernigan@nyss.org.
